TIP33C NPN Power Transistor

The TIP33 is a general–purpose NPN power transistor for use in power amplifier and switching applications. Supplied as a TO-247 package that provides better performance than the standard TO-218 package while guaranteeing the same electrical parametric distribution.

The TO-247 package is mechanically compatible with TO-218 so can be used as a direct replacment in an existing circuit. There are three common types of the TIP33 with the suffix letter indicating the maximum voltage rating; A=60V, B=80V, C=100V. As all other parameters are identical the 100V TIP33C can be used to replace any TIP33 transistor.
